Most of our warehouse associates who support our kitting work have been employed through
our workforce development program. Since 2019, we’ve partnered with community-based
organizations who serve people with special needs in a variety of ways, including job training.
We also partner with the transition programs in two area high schools. These programs support
students until age 22 with the goal of helping them move from high school into adult life.
Students from these programs work at Green Home Experts every week to gain skills and
experience so they can enter the workforce. But we don’t always let our students get away–we
love to bring them on staff when they’ve completed school!
Our integrated workforce is responsible for building several different types of kits for different
customers. Team members assist with quality control and quality assurance, counting inventory,
production schedules, and preparing outbound shipments. Our staff are the hardest working,
reliable and dependable employees we’ve had in our company history. They boast a record of
zero safety or data security violations and an average QA/QC score of over 98%!
