GHE is dedicated to creating a future where energy efficiency meets accessibility and independent living. That’s why we’re proud to be the product supplier for the Accessible Efficiency Pilot, a transformative initiative led by Focus on Energy in Wisconsin. Backed by our trusted partners i3 Energy and SEEL, LLC, this innovative program is paving the way for seniors and individuals with disabilities to live more comfortably, safely, and sustainably.

Launched in early 2025, the pilot offers free installation of smart-home and energy-saving devices for income-qualified seniors (65+) and those facing mobility or accessibility barriers in the Milwaukee area.

As part of Focus on Energy’s broader Future Focus Initiative, the pilot:

  • Prioritizes underserved communities
  • Fosters partnerships with community‑based organizations (CBOs)
  • Aims to scale what works—based on usability feedback, energy savings data, and satisfaction metrics

This builds upon our successful Accessibility Program collaboration with SEEL in Ameren Illinois territory—where we’ve already helped establish smart-access upgrades for qualified residents. With each pilot, we refine our approach to ensure wider reach and deeper impact.

The Accessible Efficiency Pilot embodies our shared vision: energy efficiency with empathy. It proves that thoughtful technology can empower independent living—especially for those who need it most. Green Home Experts is honored to lead this effort alongside i3 Energy, SEEL, and Focus on Energy. We’re building momentum for smarter homes that support autonomy, equity, and sustainability..
