At Power Path Logistics, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our People of Power Path series gives us a chance to introduce you to the people who make our warehouse, our team, and our company special. This month, we’re excited to introduce Mike!
Mike lives in Orland Park with his parents, his sister, and his chocolate Labrador, Doug. When he’s not at work, you can usually find Mike staying active at the health club, watching movies, or playing video games. And if you ask Mike about his favorite food, there’s a pretty simple answer: pizza! Mike is also a big Chicago sports fan. He cheers on the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Blackhawks. When it comes to entertainment, Mike enjoys Toy Story 5 and the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series.
Mike has been part of the Power Path Logistics team since December 2020. His path to Power Path Logistics started through a job training program with Helping Hand through the Brookfield Zoo. That opportunity helped Mike gain valuable work experience and ultimately led him to our team. One of the things Mike enjoys most about working at Power Path Logistics isn’t just the work itself—it’s the people. “Coming to see my co-workers and talk with them” is what Mike says he likes most about his job.
That sense of connection is a big part of what makes our workplace special. Our warehouse is a busy place, but it’s also a place where friendships are built, teammates support one another, and everyone has an important role to play. When asked what it means to be a good teammate, Mike had an answer that captures the spirit of Power Path Logistics perfectly: Helping others when they ask for help—and knowing when to ask for help when you need it. That’s the kind of teamwork we value every day. Being a good teammate isn’t about doing everything yourself. It’s about looking out for the people around you, offering a hand when someone needs it, and being comfortable asking for help when you need it, too.
Since joining our team in 2020, Mike has become an important part of our team. His dedication, friendly personality, and willingness to help others are exactly the qualities we want to celebrate through our People of Power Path series. We’re proud to have Mike on our team and grateful for everything he brings to Power Path Logistics every day.
