This month, meet Mollie Chambers!
Meet Mollie
Mollie lives in the western suburbs of Illinois with her family and her pets. Her household includes two cats, Pablo and Slinky, and a dog named Zuko. She also has two older sisters and three step-siblings.
If you asked Mollie’s family to describe her, they would choose three words:
Kind. Caring. Loving.
Those words aren’t just how her family sees her—they come through in the way Mollie approaches her work every day.
One of the things that always makes Mollie smile is simple: getting ready for a new day when the sun is shining.
It’s a fitting answer for someone who brings such a positive attitude to the workplace.
A Love of Family, Food and Fun
Mollie knows how to enjoy the simple things in life.
Her favorite food is pizza, but she also has a favorite restaurant tradition. She enjoys going to Prasino with her mom, where she especially loves their pancakes.
For entertainment, Mollie enjoys watching The Bear and listening to K-Pop.
She also has a special connection to sports. While in high school, Mollie played on the Special Olympics basketball team—an experience that gave her the opportunity to compete, be part of a team, and build lasting memories.
Christmas is her favorite holiday, and some of her favorite places are connected to family. She loves visiting Milwaukee, where both of her sisters live, and she also remembers Grand Beach, Michigan, where her grandparents lived.
When she has a free weekend, Mollie enjoys slowing down and doing things she loves: bike riding, reading a book, and coloring.
Mollie’s Power Path Journey
Mollie has been part of the Power Path family since June 2021, but her journey with us actually started even earlier.
Before becoming an employee, Mollie worked with Power Path through the LT transition program. That experience gave her an opportunity to learn about the workplace, develop her skills, and become familiar with the team.
Eventually, that transition led to a permanent position.
Today, Mollie works in fulfillment, where she builds different kits for our customers.
Her work is an important part of what we do. Every kit needs to be assembled accurately and efficiently so that our customers receive exactly what they need.
And Mollie takes pride in getting the job done.
A Team Player at Heart
Ask Mollie what she enjoys most about her work, and her answer isn’t about a particular machine, process, or task.
It’s about people.
Mollie especially enjoys helping her coworkers when they need a hand.
In fact, supporting her teammates is something she has worked hard to develop. She says she has been focused on coaching and supporting her coworkers, helping them whenever she can.
That’s what makes Mollie such an important part of our team.
She understands that being successful at work isn’t just about what you accomplish individually. It’s also about helping the people around you succeed.
When asked what being a good teammate means to her, Mollie said:
“Helping someone in need and treating each other with respect. Being a good listener when given a task.”
Those are simple words, but they represent some very important values: kindness, respect, communication, and a willingness to help.
Proud of the Work She Does
Mollie is proud of how much work she can accomplish at Power Path.
And she has good reason to be proud.
“We are always meeting our goals,” she says.
That sense of accomplishment matters. Fulfillment work requires focus, consistency, and teamwork, and Mollie knows that her contributions help the entire team reach its goals.
She’s not only getting her own work done—she’s looking for ways to help her coworkers get theirs done, too.
What’s Next for Mollie?
If Mollie could travel anywhere in the world, two destinations are at the top of her list: England and Italy.
She’d love to visit both because she thinks they’re beautiful.
We’re sure there’s plenty of exploring, sightseeing, and maybe even some good food waiting for her on those future adventures!
