Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Natalie Origanti, owner of Stiltbird Apparel, to the Power Path Logistics warehouse. Natalie is a new Power Path Logistics customer, and her visit was about more than simply stopping by to say hello. She wanted to meet the team, see our operation firsthand and see her newly rebranded inventory in person.
When you outsource fulfillment, you’re trusting another company with a huge part of your business. Your products are there. Your inventory is there. Your customers’ orders are there. And ultimately, your brand is represented by how that 3PL handles every item that leaves the building. We love when our customers come to see that operation for themselves.
That’s why we welcomed Natalie into our warehouse to walk the floor, see her inventory on the shelves and meet the people who will be helping move her business forward. We don’t want our customers to wonder what happens after they send us their inventory; we want them to see it. For Stiltbird Apparel, Natalie’s visit was especially meaningful because she was able to see her rebranded inventory organized and ready for fulfillment. That moment—seeing your products physically sitting on the shelves after all the work that goes into creating, branding and preparing them—is pretty exciting! It also gives us an opportunity to make sure we’re aligned from the start:
- Is inventory organized, clean and easy to pick?
- Are products labeled correctly?
- Do we understand the different SKUs and configurations?
- Are we prepared to pick, pack and ship accurately?
- Does our team understand what matters most to the brand?
One of the biggest things we hear from businesses looking for a new 3PL is that communication matters. They don’t necessarily need the biggest warehouse. They need a fulfillment partner who will answer the phone and respond to an email. They need someone who will notice when something doesn’t look right, will ask questions instead of making assumptions, and who understands that every box represents a customer experience. That’s the kind of relationship we’re building at Power Path Logistics. Natalie’s visit was a great example of that philosophy. She wasn’t just meeting a warehouse; she was meeting the people who will be handling an important part of her business.
