When Flo Mason started Crude Carnivore, she had a clear mission: help dogs and cats live healthier, happier lives through better nutrition. With a background in animal production and a master’s degree in companion animal nutrition, Flo had spent years helping pet parents navigate nutrition and dietary challenges. In 2019, that passion became Crude Carnivore—a company built around handcrafted, thoughtfully sourced bone broth for pets.

Today, Crude Carnivore’s broths are made with carefully selected ingredients, including pasture-raised bones and organically grown herbs, with an emphasis on supporting both pet health and small, local producers. But building a product people love is only one part of building a business. As Crude Carnivore grew, Flo found herself doing everything: Sales. Marketing. Customer service. Social media. Managing employees. Production. And, of course, packing and shipping orders. In other words, she wasn’t just running the business; she was the business.

Flo came to Power Path Logistics in July 2025 because Crude Carnivore was growing and the demands of that growth were becoming harder to manage. Once Power Path Logistics took over fulfillment in August 2025, Flo no longer had to spend valuable hours pulling orders, packing boxes, printing shipping labels and making sure products made it out the door. It might sound like a simple operational change, but for a growing founder, getting fulfillment off your plate can mean getting something much more valuable back: time.

And Flo put that time to work! Since partnering with Power Path Logistics, Crude Carnivore has continued expanding its sales and distribution network, allowing Flo to spend more of her energy on the parts of the business where she can make the biggest impact.

But perhaps the biggest milestone has come very recently. For a long time, Crude Carnivore’s production was about as entrepreneurial as it gets. Bone broth was being produced with employees in Flo’s garage—more recently with her baby in a bouncy seat nearby–but that chapter is now coming to an end. Crude Carnivore is moving its bone broth production to an Amish company in Pennsylvania! It’s a major step forward for the business: Flo gets to reclaim hours in her week. She no longer has to coordinate deliveries, packaging and staff for production. She can focus on growing the brand instead of managing every batch. And, an added bonus, she can park in her garage again!

At Power Path Logistics, we love working with entrepreneurs like Flo because we understand what’s behind the boxes we ship. Every order represents a client’s idea, risks, late nights, sacrifices, financing, and  dream of turning a product they believe in into a real, sustainable business. Our job isn’t simply to pick, pack and ship those orders. Our job is to help our customers build businesses that can grow beyond the founder doing everything themselves.

For Crude Carnivore, that has meant taking fulfillment off Flo’s plate while she expands her sales and distribution network. Now, production is following the same path. Piece by piece, the business is becoming bigger than the person who started it.And that’s something worth celebrating!
